The day started off well enough. She was asleep and doing fine -
We then went to the shamu show and her little nose started running and it would not stop. She also broke out in a really bad rash all over her face ( I was really worried about this) but realized that it was just a bad heat rash.
Jason got to pet his favorite animal - a dolphin. So cool!
We then bought her a Sea World hat so her rash would get better, but you can see how darn sick she was in these photos. Her nose was all bright and runny, her eyes were red and puffy, and she was not herself. It was funny though because she would still try to smile and have a good time. When she would smile it would make her eyes close, and she would get mad at herself and rub her face really hard because it made her want to sleep. Brooke does not sleep when anything cool is going on. I take that back she wont sleep when anything at all is going on.One plus side of the sickness for Brooke, is that she enjoyed eating her snot! mmm...yummy....salty! Her little tongue was out all day licking it up.
One of my nephews kept telling me how creepy and ugly my baby looked. Just what I wanted to hear, it was funny though.
She was so sick she actually fell asleep in Jason's arms. Something that would never happen on a normal day, because there is just too much to see and do when someone is holding you. (Yes I was a little jealous)
She is feeling much better now, but she still has a cough and sneezes a lot. I know I am a new mom, but it was one of the hardest things to be at sea world and enjoy it when my baby is sick. Now our whole family is sick, and we are all getting better together.

Hey Natalie! So fun to see your blog. You all look great and your baby is GORGEOUS!!!! But then again, how could she not be! I ask Jason's sister about you everytime she visits our ward (which I love, btw, since she is mature beyond her years and always contributes so much to class). It's crazy to have her in Young Womens and think about way back when I taught you in young women's. You were just as much of a doll then as you are now. You guys look so happy and you deserve it all, cute girl! Call me next time you come out to Palm Springs and we can go out to lunch or something. Who knows, Axel and Brooke could be destined for each other. :-)

Aww, poor Brooke! That really stinks to be some where like that and your baby is sick. Parker was sick just like that at Sean's brother's wedding. He had red eyes, runny nose and was not his self. It was so hard to smile for the pictures while he was screaming. Not a fun day. Call me soon we need to talk!
Mckenna was sick at that age at Disneyland. It was so sad. They try to be excited but just don't feel well enough. You will have to go back.
