The Ostler's
I got to see my oldest sister Christa, her husband and their four children for the first time since my wedding. (Which was three years ago!) They live in Virginia and they came down to Oceanside to stay with my mom, so we went to visit them as well. It is so crazy to me that I have a sister that is 17 years older than I am and that I barely know. It was so much fun to get to know them better and to see my cute niece and nephews. My niece Jazzlynn is taller than me and she is so beautiful and mature looking. I can't believe that it is the same girl that I remember holding in my arms when I was little. We all had a great time together and here are a few getting to know you photos.

The Very First Food... Brown Rice Cereal
Make sure your volume is on for this one!
We started Brooke on rice cereal a few days ago. I was trying to hold out until the 6 month mark, but she just wanted food so bad. Here is how it went -
Eating the bib before the food.

Our Third Anniversary
Three years ago today, Jason and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the San Diego Temple. It was the greatest day of my life. I am so grateful that I have him in my life and that I know that we can be together not just tell "death do us part", but for all eternity! It seems like every year our marriage just gets better and better! I am so grateful that I have such an awesome husband, and I am grateful for the peaceful marriage that we have.
I love you honey and I can't wait for all the coming years ahead. Thanks for helping me to have "eternal felicity" here on this earth. I Love you!!
Some engagement shots
I made Jason do a choreographed dance with me. He was nervous but he did great!
Lovey Love
We had our lunch reception at the El Camino Country Club in Oceanside. It was very nice and relaxed.
I had to include this photo, because my older sisters blew up condoms and put them all over my car. The wrappers were inside all over the place too. When we came out, all my nieces and nephews wanted a "balloon". It was pretty funny. Then when we got to our hotel, and had to valet. The man looked at us like we were crazy because there were condom wrappers all over the seats. I guess we just couldn't wait. ha ha -

Jason's Birthday and Palm Springs Vacation
Jason 's 25th Birthday was August 7th. We had a really fun night. What he asks for every birthday is a pamper Jason night, where I basically treat him to a bunch of spa treatments. Here are a few pictures from what we did.
Here is Brooke helping me cook dinner. Jason asked for homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

Jason's birthday cake. (Cake decorating is not my thing)
Brooke so happy she could hug daddy on his birthday!
Jason reading all the spa treatments he was getting that night. He got a full body sugar scrub. A shampoo and conditioning (he loves having his head massaged when he gets a hair cut), a facial, a back facial, a bath complete with strawberries and sparkling Martinelli's, a head massage by Brooke, hot towel wraps, and a full body massage. I know he is quite spoiled!! But just look at how happy he is about it all!! So worth it!
Brooke handing Daddy her gift. She made a canvas with bum prints, hand prints, and feet prints. I didn't get a photo of it all done, but it turned out really cute.
Here we are a few days earlier making the canvas baby art. Brooke has pink paint all over her bum. It was so funny doing this with her.
Here we are making the bum art. After we did this several times we did feet and hand prints in a different color, so it looked like baby artwork. So cute!!
Yes we were a spa complete with signs and name tags.
A greeting with candles, soft music and martinelli's. I really should open my own spa:)
In the bathroom all the treatments that we were doing were laid out.
Brooke giving Daddy her famous head massage. She is actually good at it!
Brooke fell asleep next to Jason when I was giving him, his back facial.
In palm Springs with Grandpa Dennis
Swimming in Palm Springs, trying to beat the hot and humid weather.
We stayed in two different hotels when we were in the desert because Jason and I both surprised each other with them as an Anniversary gift. Great minds think a like. ( we celebrated our anniversary early, even though it isn't until the 13th of Aug.) This is the first night at the Hyatt Grand Champions. We were getting ready to leave and go to the water park.
Here we are after a fun and long day at the water park together. It was a blast and we had a great time celebrating our 3 years being married. Vicki (Jason's sister) watched Brooke for us, and it was so nice to just have a date with the two of us. (Thanks Vicki!!!!)

Our second night stay was at the La Quinta Resort and Spa. It was so beautiful, and one of my favorite places I have stayed. It was very beautiful and quaint. We had our own huge private deck, fireplace, and beautiful bathroom. Here is the room we stayed in. They also had chocolate covered Strawberries, and a bow on our door waiting for us for our anniversary. So fun!!

We went to Kobe's with the Meriger Family, to celebrate Jason and Shelby's birthday. It was so fun and so yummy!
Brooke was very entertained at Kobe's with the cooking show that they put on. Her eyes were wide like this all night long. Isn't she so cute?
Jason and I enjoying our dinner.
Mark and Vicki laughing it up during dinner.
After dinner in front of the fish pond at Kobe's. Always fun to get pics of just the two of us. it seems all our pictures are just of Brooke now.
It was such a fun mini vacation, and we can't wait to go back again!!

Brooke, Brooke, and more Brooke......
We took some of the cutest pictures of Brooke over the week, and I just have to share them. She has been doing very good. She is so fun and smiley now and she also just discovered her feet! She can sit up all by herself for a few moments, so we think she will be doing it for a long time soon. We have been having so much fun and we can't imagine our family without her!

The very first taste.
The second taste
The first gag (she has my gag reflex)
Still not quite sure if she likes it.
One more bite will decide....
Yeah, she loves it!!
