Brooke's 6 month update

Here are some of the fun things that Brooke did this past month. She is now 6 months old, and getting bigger every day. She weighs 16 pounds 8 oz, and she is 26 inches tall. She is still our very active baby. She doesn't like to go to sleep or miss out on anything, she doesn't like any baby food. We have tried lots of veggies and even though I didn't want to give her fruit yet, I tried it out of desperation. She hates it all and shuts her mouth and turns her head with every bite. (If you have any suggestions please let me know.) She is very happy and smiles every chance she gets, and she is the best baby.

Here she is just looking so cute.
She does a really big smile now.I know she is sooo beautiful... brag, brag...This is her cheesy smile that she started to do. It is a fake one that she would do for us because of the reactions we would give to her when she would smile. She hasn't been doing it as often as she use too. Here she is trying to drink from a sippy cup, she does alright with it, but I'm not sure she actually gets anything out.
She like to sleep in the corner of her crib like this.
Here was her first miniature golf game.
Brooke's first trip to the beach.
Hanging out with Ashley at the beach.

Her favorite part of the beach was talking as loud as she possible could, to anyone who would listen.

She liked the water but not the waves.

Playing with her buddy Parker.
Visiting Grandma in Oceanside. We had such a great time, and Brooke loved getting to hang out with Grandpa, Grandma, and Max (the dog).

Meeting Grandpa Postl for the first time. I love the look on both of there faces in this picture.

Brooke loves to eat Jason's face. Mostly his nose and hair.
MMMMM...

That last pic is hilarious. Your mom is pretty! You two look a lot alike. Have you tried rice cereal? It's pretty bland. Most babies like it. Realistically though, it's nothing to worry about if she doesn't want to. Some don't really start until closer to 9 months. They want to go straight to the good solid stuff like Cheerios. ;)

Love the pics! We had so much fun with you and little Brooke at the beach. Glad we got to be there for her first beach experience. She is such a beautiful baby. My favorite is her chicks! Parker pretty much hated baby food too. He really liked rice cereal and oatmeal. I would add a little vegetables to it and he would eat it. Just keep with it. It is so stressful I know. I am still dealing with him being picky with food. Not fun! Did you get those pics I emailed you? I am coming Thurs. Yeah! I just saw you called so I will call you in a min. Oh and isn't that crazy about Sean's job. I am still in shock about the whole thing. It really is a blessing. The job and having you guys for friends! We love you!

She just gets cuter and cuter, huh? It's so much fun when their personality really starts to come out, too. About the food: I wouldn't worry about it. I always hated the "baby food" stage and so did my kids. No matter what, they survive and thrive and grow up!
