Brooke has always had long hair, however......
she has also always had a mullet, a bald spot, and a simi-mohawk.
She how bald she was in the middle, well I just wanted to even things up a bit...
oops, this trimmer is a lot shorted than I thought it would be. Too bad I just did a huge piece of hair in the front.
Brooke had no idea that I was messing up her cute little baby hair. Poor little baby just smiling away.
What have you done to me mom? I look like baby J.I. Jane. (This is where I started to cry)
Oh my goodness, what have I done? I have a boy now.
It is more even though.
Thank goodness for headbands!
She won't be seen without one for awhile.
That was my terrible idea, that I wish so bad I could take away. I just can't wait for her hair to grow out, and it will be even. Jason came home, and even though he wasn't mad you could tell he was as sad as I was.... We will keep you updated on how fast the hair growth is coming. :)

Poor Brooke!! At least she's still so cute with those big beautiful eyes. Oh, my poor niece- You're right though, she better never go without a headband!!!!!
I think the haircut is adorable. Brooke is like her mommy, no matter what, she is a cute little angel. The head band is adorable on her. Your hair was not a whole lot different from Brooke's when you were a baby. It was pulled to the top and wrapped with a rubber band creating a palm tree-like hairdoo. Very cute. She could never be a little boy...way too feminine and her emotional intense communication with the face turning red is a dead give away that says: I am my daddy's girl!
She still looks beautiful. I did the same thing to one of my little girls, and it looked great once it grew out. This will be one of those things that you look back and laugh about.
I'm still laughing....although i know your pain, hahahaha....maybe why I'm laughing is because it is NOT serious. Hahahaa... I thought you were going to tell us that you clipped her fingernails, by accident... You did?? :) It happens. My big bad thing was with my first baby, April. While carrying her through the house, in my arms with her head sticking out to the side, I came too close to the doorjam and OUCH, I can still hear the thud! OH, that made us both cry!! So, a little less hair, is OK. :) She is still precious, darling and feminine! :) Love to you all!
Oh, I am sure that was so sad, but you retold it so funny! I think that she looks very cute and it is not bad at all! You were smart - I made Ryan go with his old man hair and I wish that I didn't!
Don't worry about it! She's still beautiful. Before you know it, she'll have a beautiful head of hair long enough to pull into a ponytail. But then I guess you'll still be sad because she'll be all grown up, right? But don't worry, you're still a great mommy!
Aww poor baby! Her little face makes you want to cry!! She is still sooo beautiful, hope your feeling better bout the situation. She looks adorable with her headband!! Don't worry. I gave in a made a blog, it's nice cause Jake's fam that live out of state can see Ashton! Ya it's been a while since we've hung out, call me.
Hi Natalie, She looks adorable no matter what! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I feel so "out of it" being at the organ before and after Sacrament meetings, I don't really get to visit with anybody and sometimes I miss out on meeting and making new friends because of my calling but I'm definitely glad for blogs like yours that help me get to know the families in the ward. Maybe someday we'll actually get to visit in person!! lol
Natalie,
Your blog is SO cute and so is Brooke! I think her new haircut is adorable. I loved the pics of it...what a memory!!
I've actually heard that when you trim their hair, it will grow in thicker and longer, healthier :)
and she's still such a cutie
She is so cute, no matter what!
Oh Natalie, Don't feel bad. She is darling, buzz or no buzz!
I remember I did the same thing to my girls and the first two days I had cutter's remorse. After that it was great and everything grew in perfect! Just hang on for a week or so and you will be so use to it.
