Hey! So, Gorditos in Seattle--awesome to eat there! I've heard that Wild Ginger is also good, in downtown. I've never been there myself, but Michael's bro-in-law & sister, and his other sister all love it. Duke's Chowder House on the pier in Seattle has delicious chowder. Red Mill is supposed to be famous for their burgers (again, I've heard it's good but never been there). Top Pots Donuts are huge and delicious. There's a little donut place at Pike Place Market, kind of close to the fish throwing place (relatively) and on the same floor. Personally, I like Top Pots better, but the ones at Pike Place are supposedly famous, too. And I think it's called Gelatisimo. It's a gelato shop in downtown. There's a fancy-schmancy chocolate shop (prob more than one) downtown, too. Anyway, hope that helps a bit and that you guys have a blast! :) I like the pier and Duke's best because it feels like the "real" Seattle experience. I suppose the REAL Seattle experience would be getting a coffee at Starbucks, but eating somewhere on the pier is probably a close second. :) (Sorry to be so lenthy.)
I am 26 years old. I have the greatest husband in the world, and 2 of the most amazing kids. My 3 year old keeps me busy and always on my toes for what she will be doing next. My 1 year old boy is just a little slice of heaven in my life. I love being able to stay home and take care of my family. I love anything that involves making my home a better place to live. I love everything about life and really can't ask for more!
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience."Gordon B. Hinckley

That was in response to your comment on our blog, fyi. :) No, I did not think you just needed a random listing of good Seattle restraunts. :)
We're near Tacoma, so kind of, but not exactly. :)
