Lots of old things I never posted

Some memories we have made in the past few months. I thought I would throw them all together to make it easy.

Brooke fell asleep on the couch (this has never happened before unless she is sick so I had to document it), building with new blocks, watching Little Einsteins (a daily occurrence), going to Victoria Gardens and playing in the water and eating at Lucille's, our giant Gingerbread men.

Alec and Kayla came and stayed with us the day before Thanksgiving. Alec and Jason woke up Thanksgiving morning to play in the turkey bowl. Alec fractured his ankle and both of them ended up having to stay with us for Thanksgiving instead of going to Knott's Berry Farm with the rest of the family. I know they were disappointed but i was so happy I got to keep them a while longer. I love these awesome kids!!

Brooke, Kayla and I got to see The Wizard of Oz play. It was Brooke's first play and she loved it. She wasn't bored even though it was 2.5 hours long. She said it was just so much more real then the movie. :) I loved watching her as she experienced it for the first time. It was fun getting to have Kayla be with us. She is not only an awesome niece but a great friend as well.

I got to take Alec out on a date for sushi. He is the only one who likes it with me. We ordered like 6 dishes and pigged out. It was delicious and it was fun going on a date with a younger man:) No really he is such a good boy!!

The kids have been put to work in our house! The funny thing is that they actually do a great job. Brooke dusts my baseboards for me every week and she does it perfectly. I hope her enthusiasm for cleaning can last at least for a few more years.
